The rules of using DNFolder
Plain-language terms that govern your access to and use of our platform.
Acceptance
These Terms govern your access to and use of DNFolder ("we", "us"). By using the platform, you agree to be bound by them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Your Account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
Because DNFolder uses zero-knowledge encryption, you are solely responsible for safeguarding your password and Recovery Key. Your Recovery Key is shown once at signup. If you lose both your password and your Recovery Key, DNFolder cannot recover your portfolio data - access will be permanently lost. We strongly recommend storing your Recovery Key in a password manager or other secure location immediately after signup.
Acceptable Use
Use DNFolder only for lawful purposes. Don't disrupt the platform, scrape data without permission, upload malicious code, harass other users, or attempt unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
Payments
Paid plans unlock additional features at the prices shown on our pricing page. By subscribing, you authorize recurring billing. Pricing may change with notice. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or our 14-day money-back guarantee.
Intellectual Property
All DNFolder content, branding, and software belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the platform. You retain full ownership of the portfolio data you submit.
Disclaimers & Liability
DNFolder is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't offer financial, investment, or legal advice - decisions you make based on the platform are your own. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Encryption and key management: DNFolder's zero-knowledge architecture means we have no ability to access, recover, or restore encrypted vault data on your behalf. We expressly disclaim all liability for data loss resulting from loss of your password and Recovery Key. It is your responsibility to maintain access to your credentials.
Termination & Changes
You may stop using DNFolder at any time. We may suspend access if you violate these Terms. We may also update these Terms occasionally; continued use after changes means you accept the revised version.
